The first three-wheeler made in Bangladesh used only Kansai Nerolac paints

Bangladesh’s first three-wheeler manufactured by Runner Automobiles Limited uses only colors supplied by Kansai Nerolac Paints. Runner Automobiles PLC manufactures this three-wheeler at their plant located in Bhaluka, Mymensingh. Kansai Nerolac’s technical team was engaged in round-the-clock monitoring to maintain color quality throughout the project from the start of the project. They are already supplying automotive coatings to other two-wheeler and commercial vehicle manufacturers in the country.

Kansai Nerolac Paints is helping automotive manufacturers to rely on domestically produced products rather than depending on imports, which the people concerned hope will inspire other manufacturers to use locally made products in the future.

Kansai Nerolac Paints has a huge product portfolio of hyperperformance coatings, decorative and waterproof coatings. They have already captured 30 percent of the powder coating market by inaugurating a new powder coating plant at Bhulta in Narayanganj last year. The company is planning to launch coil coating within this year.

Kansai Paints Japan has invested about three million dollars in the financial year 2020-21 to develop its own infrastructure in Bangladesh. In the current financial year as well, the company is investing another three million dollars to enrich the product portfolio.

Vishal Mothreja, Chief Executive Officer of the company said, “We are proud to be a partner in this prestigious project of Runner Automobiles and are determined to be associated with such projects in the days to come.”

It should be noted that Kansai Paints, the 7th largest paint manufacturer in the world, is working in 80 countries in Asia, Europe, America and Africa with a tradition of 104 years. Kansai Nerolac Paints has gained the trust of Bangladeshi customers in a short period of time due to maintaining the quality of the products.
